Names for the parts of the Go board

19x19 board
This is the official Go board, the 19x19 board.
It is a grid of 19 vertical and 19 horizontal lines, making a total of 361 intersections.
There's a theory that in ancient China it was used as a calendar.
The nine black spots on the board are called the star points.
The centre one has a special name, tengen, meaning the centre point.
The areas near the star points are called, respectively, the corners, sides, and centre.
The area in the top right (facing the board) is called the 'top right corner'.
