Tournament
conditions: |

1. |
The tournament is a four-round Swiss-system tournament. |
|
|
2. |
The time allowance is one hour per player, followed by byo-yomi of 30 seconds
per move. |
|
|
3. |
Rules are the Japanese Rules of Go. The komi is 6½ points. |
|
|
4. |
The draw for the first round will be held at the reception. However, if
players from the same zone are paired against each other, the draw will
be redone. |
|
|
5. |
Pairings from the second round on will be conducted automatically by computer. |
|
|
|
|
Requirements
for entry: |
|
1. |
University or college student below 30 years of age in each country. |
|
|
2. |
The representative should be nominated by each national Go association
or federation. |
|
|
3. |
Participants should be able to speak basic English or Japanese. |
